Sorry I couldn't give you more. This returns policy is implemented at the sole discretion of Cotter Motorcycles Dublin: Keep in mind that even if you can adapt it, you may run into impedence mismatch problems with the mike or speakers, which may make them perform poorly. If the connectors match, maybe they can let you try their cable on your headset to see if it works. Your local GWRRA chapter probably has some Wing owners that have the Chatterbox setup. Maybe someone here can check their headset. I got rid of my Chatterbox headset awhile back, so I don't remember if it had an 8 pin connector or not. You may even find that it is wired the same as the setup for the Goldwing, which would enable you just buy their Goldwing extension cord. Your best bet would be to contact Chatterbox and see if they make an adapter that will work. Since the Chatterbox B to B system is a proprietary setup designed to work only with that system, there would be no way of knowing how the system you have is wired unless Chatterbox made it available, (doubtful), or if someone actually took it apart and documented it. This is not a definitive answer to your question, but I hope it will help. If I can be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to ask. I will most likely send my next helmet to Air Rider direct though. The audio on the Chatterbox is excellent as I placed the peakers correctly and the Air Rider sucks as Sierra butchered my helmet. I installed the Chatterbox myself and Sierra installed the AirRider (will never let them touch anything of mine again). I use a Chatterbox on my open face and an AirRider on my Flip helmet. Certainly not the best out there, but for the price they work pretty well. ![]() ![]() The Chatterbox headsets for the OEM are pretty good. That and the mic technology is different, so even if there was an adapter, the mic would not work. ![]() There is no adapter to use the PS2 plug of the Chatterbox headsets from the X1/X2 on the Wing OEM system. The OEM Honda jack requires the 5 pin DIN connector standard on Japanese motorcycles. The Chatterbox X1/X2 use a dedicated Noise Reducing Headset/Mic with a PS2 connector (the small one). I am a Chatterbox dealer and believe I now understand your question.
